Taking its title from a verse from Manusmriti, this compilation of important short discourses, bhakti songs, and devotional couplets by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj reinforces the scriptural tenet that in this material age, charity is the only way. Saint Tulasidas says in the Ramayan, "Charity is the most righteous and benefical act in this age of materialism." Therefore, it is no surprise that as the living form of altruism, Kripaluji explained the importance of charity in many ways, encouraging people to correctly apply these principles in their daily life and reap the benefit. At the same time, he instigated several charitable projects for the betterment of society, creating numerous opportunities for people under his tutelage to utilise their body, mind, and wealth in the service of those less fortunate. 

Danamekam Kalau Yuge comprises excerpts from some of Kripaluji's principal works, including Radha Govind Geet, Shyama Shyam Geet, and Prem Ras Madira.
