Shri Krishna instructs Arjun in the Gita that to know God, an aspiring devotee should surrender to a God-realised saint, a guru with complete scriptural knowledge and practical experience of God. He should ask his guru questions to resolve his doubts and engage lovingly in his guru's service. What do our scriptures mean by loving service, seva? And with what and how should we serve the guru?
