Shyama Shyam Geet, 8

eka bara hamarihun ora lakhu shyama

aga jaga bhatakata thaki gaye pama

O Shyama! I am completely exhausted from continuously wandering in this world of maya. Please cast Your merciful glance upon me just once.

kahan jaun kason kahun kauna sune shyama

patitana ko nahin aura kahun thama

O Shyama! Where do I go? Who do I recite my plight to? Who will listen to me? A sinner has nowhere to go except to You.

mohin jani lakhu main to patakadhama

apano kripalu svahava lakhu shyama

O Shyama! I am the abode of innumerable sins. Please reflect on Your own causelessly merciful nature and accept me as Your own.
